I WOULD game if there were a dedicated gaming handset like the QD or the Original - I have nothing against pocket gaming as a concept. I'm not making a statement about Nokia's over all success or lack thereof with this initiative - just saying that it's not something I'm that interested in. Sorry, wasn't clear enough - it's not a viable platform FOR ME personally. It brings an entirely new facet to mobile gaming, and one that I'm happy to see. It's MUCH more convenient to be able to shop for, download, and purchase a game without having to touch a PC, than to have to download it like that.Īlso, the online component is strong, and not to be underestimated. The selling point, IMO, is the convenience. Personally, I don't know that I'll actually purchase full licenses for many games, but I'm VERY likely to do the rental thing repeatedly, such as right before I hop on a plane or something. However, mobile gaming is getting bigger every year, and this is just another way for Nokia to get in on that. If your complaint is the hardware, then clearly you're not going to game on your N95, Ngage or not. I don't quite follow how that causes question as to the entire viability of the platform. ![]()
